Following article from the fortune, it seems that the IOC is planning to add competitive video games to the games.

It may sound unusual but when we consider the price to produce Olympic games and the amount of money that a city needs to invest in it for 2 weeks. This can be an excellent way to bring a huge amount of money to the table.

Of course, there’s all the sports aspect that doesn’t seem to fit but since there’s a lot of money needed to produce the Olympic games, I do believe that there’s a real discussion going on in the IOC.
