Defining environment language for video game

One of my colleagues shares me this really interesting short lecture from level design Emilia Schatz from Naughty Dog. In this article, Emilia speaks about the importance of creating an environment language to the player.

The goal is to make your environment playable and understandable to the player. There’s a lot of really interesting trick that fits with the atomic game design formation that I share knowledge on this website.
